My copy of Voices of a Distant Star came with a soundtrack CD, but other than
that I haven't bought any. I have been considering a few though. I really need
to make a list sometime, I can never remember which ones I wanted.
I'd agree with Banchan mostly. I like an interesting story and a good helping of
humor. Action and romance are both welcome additions as well. In general, I
don't care for series that take themselves too seriously, though I'm sure there
are some exceptions--I've only started reading/watching manga/anime
recently.
Oh, and I have absolutely no objections to liberal fan service... >:D
The only one I've seen of the titles listed so far is DearS, but I can say I
enjoyed that. The real story doesn't seem to start until the third volume, but
it's all fun to watch.
Btw, the Anime News Network [http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/] has a good
dictionary (lexicon) of common anime terms, for those who keep seeing unfamiliar
words.
